Climbing / School / Moon Board Feedback
We’ve started getting some interesting feedback on the Moon board from differnt corners of the globe, so we thought we’d post it here. If you’ve set up a Moon board of your own and have some pics of the board in action and some thoughts you’d like to share then send them in to us.
“Hi Ben! It’s Jonas from Malmö, Sweden. The wall is a smash hit but we need to get used to the steep angle and the very small holds, where are the jugs?! Everybody in our gym finds the problems very hard and physical. The 6C and 7A with the undercut crux are thought to be sandbags, but then again they have a very specific move on them so who knows? The two 7C’s are fine creations and we are working on them at the moment. When is your forum coming up, it would be nice to chat with you and others alike about the problems”.

“The Board is great!! Everyone is having loads of fun on the new problems. I set up the project you listed, tricky for sure! The other problem you listed (#7) with the hold change. What?? I went left to #31 then right to #17 and right again to #22, then I’m stuck with no feet. Hand foot match on #31? I just tried it last night and found myself a bit stumped? Beta?? It was great fun last night, and I’m sore today. So all’s well around here!”

The schoolroom concept is a great idea i’ll certainly be building one this winter. It is particularly great for those of us living in islolated communities, now i will be able to train with people from all around the world. I will be spreading the news round Norway, hopefully some of my friends will build the same boards so even though we live far apart we will be able to work out on the same problems. I’m psyched already. As Andy Pollit would have said “mmmm cheers good effort”
Your Moon board is sick!! But we want more problems!!! Hurry and put them up. (We did)

Just wanted to say how good the site is, but particularly the school room section – it helped me set up my own little training wall as well helping me put up some great little problems. Thanks very much for all the hard work lads and lasses!
