What is the Moon Board?
Imagine being able to train on the same wall and pull on the same holds as some of the strongest climbers in the world, imagine working your way through their huge list of training problems, knowing that the likes of Ben Moon and Malcolm Smith became strong in exactly the same way, and even better what if you could do this by going no further than your spare bedroom or garage, or at worst your local climbing wall.
Well this is now possible, as the new Moon board has been designed and built in a systematic way so that the board can be replicated very easily using simple measurements supplied by Moon and a few hours labour. Using our step-by-step instructions, you can build your board at the exact angle as ours and space your T-nuts out at pinpoint locations, again exact to our Moon board.
By using a set of School Room holds you can now replicate the exact problems that we are training on. This is made possible because each School Room hold is given a unique number and a compass design which will enable anyone to replicate any of our problems from our list of Moon Board Problems in just a few simple clicks online and tightening of bolts.
We plan to have a forum here at some point in the future making it possible to share problems online, discuss grades, training tips and methods of doing problems. There will be slopey problems, crimpy problems and dynos and you will only be limited by your imagination and the size of your bicep. The only downside to this is that you will probably never need to climb outside again!
